& Staff:
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to everyone at BPS. My name is Tim Sparacino and I am the Instructional Technology Coordinator for the district.
In addition to coordinating the efforts of the Technology Integration Department, I will be working directly with faculty and staff members at Bentonville High School, Elm Tree Elementary, and Spring Hill Middle School.
I, along with the other members of our department, will be regularly conducting before/after school training sessions to help you fully integrate technology into your instruction and into the projects that you assign to your students. These workshops will be conducted throughout the district and can be tailored to specific needs of individuals and/or your entire faculty.
You will be notified of these sessions and be able to register for them through the Professional Development Department.
We will also be available during school hours to work with individuals, PLC groups, team or department meetings...you name it!
Don't wait for us to offer the training you need. Contact us. Tell us what you need and we will do our best to accommodate you when and where you need it.
In conclusion, I am excited about the opportunity to get to know everyone and begin working with you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need assistance, have questions, and especially, if you have a good suggestion!

Hello BPS Faculty & Staff: I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to everyone at BPS. My name is Tim Sparacino and I am the Instructional Technology Coordinator for the district. In addition to coordinating the efforts of the Technology Integration Department, I will be working directly with teachers at Bentonville High School, Elm Tree Elementary, and Spring Hill Middle School.
I have twenty years of experience in education including eight years as a teacher/coach, eight years as a high school principal, and I’ve spent the past four years as a central office administrator before making the move to Bentonville this year.
Throughout my career, I have been convinced of the absolute need to integrate technology into the daily school routine. This integration should help facilitate instruction, communication with parents/community, professional development, and administrative functions. More importantly, technology should support student learning.
In order to facilitate this process, I continually seek out new technology resources and make them available to educators with two social bookmarking sites (a Delicious page, and a Diigo page), a resource wiki, a professional development wiki, a [[file:/F:\Documents\timsparacino.wordpress.com|blog]], and a [[file:/F:\Documents\twitter.com\sparacino|Twitter account.]]
I will continue to maintain these sites and will make additional resources available on my SharePoint portal as it develops.
In conclusion, I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know everyone and begin working with you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need assistance, have questions, and especially, if you have a good suggestion!
